by Dorothy Cross and Elizabeth Street.


Dorothy Cross
SWA Hon SGFA
Dorothy was born in Coventry and now resides in Wellesbourne. SHe holds a diploma in Fine Art and is a member of the Society of Women Artists (SWA) and is now an Honorary Member of the Society of Graphic Fine Art (SGFA). Dorothy has served as an active member on the committees of several Art Societies, and over a number of years has also taught her skills to mature students. Her favourite subjects are painting flowers and landscapes in watercolour, oils, acrylics and working in charcoal. Her commissions include watercolours for the Provost of Coventry Cathedral and two watercolours of the Cathedral ruins were printed as limited editions.

Elizabeth Street SFP
Elizabeth was born in Coventry and now resides in Wellesbourne also. Having painted for many years, she is a member of the Society of Floral Artists (SFP) [sic] and a number of local art societies. She draws inspiration for her painting
s from her love of gardening, and also enjoys passing on her expertise to others by teaching mature students. More recently, Elizabeth has received a commission to paint pictures from the Herb Garden of a Tudor Manor House in Southampton. The house will be opened to the public in the near future.

In addition to advertised exhibitions, visitors are cordially invited to come along and view:
"The Studio Collection" - a regular display of work by well known local artists and craftsmen and women, such as ~

All works may be purchased at very reasonable prices and to suit all pockets.
