In
order to meet with increased demand for exhibition space, and to improve
access and accomodation generally, work commenced in late October
2003 to convert rooms comprising the premises of a former business
located immediately to the rear of (then named) Studio 2. |

~ As a visual artist my work falls into various strands. I trained as a painter and printmaker receiving the ATD in 1969. One of my greatest loves is drawing and this is highly evident in my painting and printmaking. I work traditionally, currently producing local scenes and still life, which show clearly my love for texture and colour. However, there is a need to use design elements, which involve small extracts of some of my poetry incorporated with stylised natural forms done in watercolour and acrylic. My own personal work is vitally important to me. ~ Marie Lines (Jane's business partner & Exhibitions Co-ordinator)
